O segredo do Curupira (The secret of Curupira, in free translation) is a book where we stood up for the appreciation of Brazilian indigenous peoples' knowledge. In the tale, the secret kept by Curupira brings to birth a necessary dialog between science and the natives' wisdom.

Did you know? Curupira is a symbolic character of Brazilian Folklore. He has his feet reversed back and protects the wildlife against those entering the forest to cut down trees or hunt animals.
